At Google Cloud Next ’24, one of the industry’s most prominent technology events, PwC aimed to reinforce its leadership in cloud consulting through strategic, high-value client engagement. Led the experiential design for a dedicated client lounge, transforming Mandalay Bay’s Wedding Chapel into a fully customized, immersive environment that balanced premium hospitality with purposeful functionality to foster deeper conversations and stronger relationships.
The challenge
The expo floor at Google Cloud Next is fast-paced and crowded. PwC needed a dedicated off-floor space that stood apart: calm, premium, and distraction-free, while supporting a full range of high-stakes activities including executive one-on-ones, curated lunch-and-learn sessions, networking receptions, and live keynote viewings. The venue’s inherent wedding features — built-in podiums, aisle-like carpets, and romantic elements– had to be completely reimagined to reflect PwC’s professional standards, values of trust and integrity, and sophisticated brand presence.
Creative leadership and direction
Led the full creative strategy and experiential design direction for the client lounge and tradeshow booth, owning concept development through final build-out and on-site execution. Collaborated closely with internal stakeholders, fabrication teams, lighting designers, and vendors to ensure every element aligned with PwC’s brand and the event’s strategic goals.

The lounge was conceived as a serene sanctuary amid the event’s energy. The transformation involved constructing temporary fake walls to redefine the space, installing all-new neutral carpet to eliminate wedding-aisle associations, and concealing or removing built-in podiums and romantic details to create a clean, professional canvas.
